The family ski resort of Kappl in the Tyrolean Paznaun Valley is all set for the start of the season. The new, ultra-modern Diasbahn gondola lift will go into operation as a feeder gondola lift. For the cable car operator, this new construction will not only increase transport capacity and comfort, but also modernize and improve the quality of the entire infrastructure at the entrance to the ski area.
As part of the new gondola lift, two state-of-the-art Panorama Info Systems were installed, which serve as important and central orientation points for ski guests. One panorama information system is located in the valley station, technically equipped with LED spots in the panorama image and two LCD screens whose content can be updated in seconds. The second panorama information system is located directly at the exit at the mountain station and also includes an LED ticker and a FreerideCheckpoint with integrated avalanche transceiver checkpoint. The two information systems display up-to-date operating information on the cable cars and pistes, a quick and compact overview of the entire ski area with the help of a panoramic map, safety instructions and much more.
The modern information systems are complemented by a digital overhead cash desk system with 4 LCD screens, which offer maximum flexibility in terms of content display: from prices and live images from the ski area to event information, everything is possible. In addition, the new access portals at the valley and mountain stations provide ski guests with the necessary orientation when accessing the cable car with the help of an LED clock, operating, transportation and safety information.
